COUNTERFEIT MIRACLES!!!!

Yes! they abound and am talking from experience.

I have been waiting on God for a particular miracle in my life, and sequel to my last post on restlessness, i went on an intensive period of prayers and exactly on the fourth day i had to travel to see my mum in another state, the devil made an attempt on my life in what would have been a ghastly motor accident and which i may not be alive to tell the story if i had eventually joined the vehicle but God frustated it and the very next day Voila! out came this miracle personified.

I may not be able to go into details now, but it was an 8 days of a force trying to change my life, trying to wrestle everything ave ever believed in from me, and generally trying to bar the fulfilment of my destiny.

But in the very words of CeeCee Winnas, "MERCY SAID NO" to all devillish attempt in my life.

This brings me to characteristics of miracles that comes from God and counterfeit miracles:

Miracles that comes from God:-

The blessing of the Lord maketh rich and addeth no sorrow, (rich is not only in money, material things but also in marriage, career and generally, a fulfilling life) any miracle that has element of sorrow is not from God for if it is not good then its not God.

Elijah looked for God in a whirlwind, stormy wind, he was not found, but he passed in a cool gentle breeze, any miracle that requires you rushing, not even pausing to think, in fact stormy, God is not there.

Any miracle that cannot follow the laid down rules of your church, the bible and what you believe in is indeed not a miracle from God.

Any miracle you have to adjust by yourself or with outside help is not a miracle.

On the other hand the miracles of God will have no shortcoming, even when it is spontaneous people will see it and glorify God.

It is consistent.

It stands the test of time, of the bible, of your rightful xtian beliefs, and of your church where God ministers to your soul.

It doesnt crowd you so you dont have time to run it through the above mentioned checkpoints.

It doesnt negate the prophesies on your life thereby subjecting you to the thoughts of adjusting or derailing from your existing paths according to the prophesy.

Above all run it by the Holy spirit!!! 

Where the miracles fail the above mentioned test, TAKE TO YOUR HEELS, RUN AS FAST AS YOUR LEGS CAN CARRY YOU! THERE IS A WAY THAT SEEMETH RIGHT TO MAN, THE END THEREOF IS DEATH!!!

Remember, counterfeit miracles come when your prayers are already making impacts and your time of visitation is near. It is a last resort after all attempts have been made on your life, your faith etc to make sure that you dont still get to fulfill destiny!

HOLMAN STANDARD BIBLE - WHEN YOU REBEL!!!!! ohhhhhh! i could go on and on, by the way dont get lost on me. Am referring to Genesis 27:40, an instruction to Esau saying, when he shall have dominion he shall break his brother's yoke from his neck.

In case you dont know, i prefer the "when you become restless" line. why? i believe that when you become uncomfortable with your present circumstance, your present environment, your situation now, it makes you restless and you want to rebel but you need an increase in  power to break loose from the present yoke holding you down. Hence, your Dominion!

Why the epistle, i discovered that since mid october, ave been kind of restless, kind of irritated by circumstances that i will normally take in my strides. Now, instead of it to end up as a passing phase, it kept increasing by the day and you know whenever that happens to me, its a sign that i should up and leave my comfort zone, either physically or spiritually. Of course nothing happens in the physical without it being settled spiritually.

It is an indication that God is sensitizing me to the fact that i should take up a spiritual battle against certain things i have accepted as norm and which is an abuse to redemption!

Breaking loose depends on how far you are willing to go to take the battle against the kingdom of darkness, so i went into my shelf (my mini library) brought out Dr Mensah Otabil's message "buy your own future" played it and voila the lines started falling unto me in pleasant places and now i know what i must do.

Are you very comfortable with a situation you must vehemently negate?

Have you accepted stagnancy in your life as a norm?

Has disappointments, lack and wants become your next door neigbour?

Then get restless and act!!! launch a holy and spiritual war against these abnormalties and by the time you are saying "Happy New Year" you wont see them again.

The battle is already decided in your favour, all you have to do is show God you are fed up with the situation, in fasting, prayer and waging war  with the word. "they overcame by the blood of the Lamb and the  word s of their mouths" You can too!!!

WHO COULD HAVE KNOWN?

Who could have known that one who lost her husband, her two sons who died without an offspring could still nurse a child of her own kith and kin in her bosom?

Who could have known that one who felt that the hands of the Lord had gone against her would still end up being a parternal aunt to Jesus Christ?

Who could have known that one who named herself bitterness, saying the almighty had dealt bitterly with her could still be referred to in sweetness?

Who could have known that one who went away full, came back empty will have eternal fullness?

Who could have known that the poor young widow who sneaks into  fields to glean at the peril of being manhandled by the boys would be given a free license to operate in the fields and with executive instructions that the boys leave enough for her to glean deliberately?

Who could have known that the one who was hungry could eat at the masters' table with the reapers?

Who could have known that the Lord who has been accused of dealing bitterly, afflicting, etc could also be praised for blessing the same person so that his fame might be known in all Israel?

Its never too late to convert your insult to result, your shame to glory by trusting completely under his wings like my examples above did!

LEAN NOT UNTO YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING !!!

Early hours of January 2010, after the usual cries of Happy New Year!!!, we began our usual stroll back home at the close of service so we can celebrate the new year and as many as we were, moving en masse back to our various homes, i was alone in my thoughts, thinking of the exploits i will do in the year, how my reading habits will change , sleeping habits my status......... and i could go on and on . But looking back on that day and my chains of thoughts, I realised that my plans, my thoughts were based on my own understanding, knowledge and my own calculations.

Ten months have gone by now and am still struggling to fulfil just one quarter of the goals i set for myself at the beginning of the year because i relied on my own might and understanding despite my believe in God. 

On my ponderings on the reasons for the failure, i received the answer  which i am about to discuss with you now friends for i was made to understand that that i wasn't alone in the situation.

But before i discuss the solution , I want to ask you the following questions;

Have you been in similar situations as described above where you plan, year after year to drop some bad habits, get into an effective saving habit, live a true xtian's life and do so many other good things which you fail to achieve at the end of the year?

Dont you ever wish that there is a better way to achieving your purpose in life? 

Aren't you wondering if you will also be able to achieveyour goals for this year again, knowing fully well that you have only two months left in the year?

Are you one of those whose heart flew out of their chests when they got the first text message wishing them a happy new month cos they suddenly found out they are in the 

eleventh month?

If your answer is 'yes' to all or some of these questions, i got good news for you today, you can still achieve your goals in this remaining two months!

I can hear you asking me, hey! if i cant achieve my goas for the past ten months, how can i achieve them in these last two months?

Say with me, it is possible! The solution is as follows " TRUST IN GOD, LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERASTANDING, IN ALL YOUR WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM AND HE SHALL DIRECT YOUR PATHS. BE NOT WISE IN YOUR OWN EYES, FEAR THE LORD AND DEPART FROM EVIL" Prov3:5-7. You may wish to read all these chapter to be able to understand more.

You have tried every thing you know to no avail TRY GOD!!! this is not a question of how long you have been religeous.......... You have stayed on this side of the river for too long, 

CROSS TO THE OTHER SIDE, the Winning side!!!!.
